Come join us at the Facility Day 2025 on November 6 in Woerden and discover whether facility work is something you might like! Various facility companies from Utrecht, Woerden, Nieuwegein, Houten, Vianen, Maarssen, and Bunnik are looking for employees who want to work in general cleaning, window washing, facade cleaning, floor maintenance, carwash, or specialist cleaning for 24 to 40 hours per week.

You’re very welcome to join us for a cup of coffee and a healthy dose of action on Thursday, November 6 during the Facility Day in Woerden. During this hands-on event, you can explore whether facility work suits you. We want to show you that it’s not just about cleaning. It’s your smile and customer-friendly attitude that can really make a difference.

As a participant, you can immediately try out window washing, facade cleaning, floor and general facility maintenance and car washing. You’ll also meet several nice and socially engaged employers in the Midden-Utrecht labor market region. In addition to a fun day, they can offer you a real stepping stone for your career. Not from the Utrecht area? No problem—we’ll pick you up at Utrecht Central Station and bring you to the location in Woerden.

Follow-up: two-month training program

Did you find one of the companies or fields of work so interesting that you’d like to start your career there? If you’re enthusiastic to start after Facility Day and you appear to be suitable for facility work, we’ll offer you a tailor-made two-month training program. You can follow the program while keeping your benefits. The program includes job coaching and a job guarantee. You’ll earn certificates, learn practically, and gain real work experience. Afterwards, you can immediately start a paid job at one of the companies working for Utrecht University of Applied Sciences. If you already have significant experience, it might be possible to start a paid job straight away. Both part-time and full-time jobs are available.

We’re looking for someone who:

enjoys varied, hands-on work;
has a customer-friendly attitude;
doesn’t mind starting early in the morning.

We expect you to focus on quality. You enjoy completing projects neatly and on time; not necessarily fast, but done well. You value good communication and teamwork, and you’re comfortable interacting with customers. Of course, you do all this with a smile on your face.
